Grayscale 'blown away by support' – as they announce UK tour
Philadelphia alt-rock band Grayscale have announced their first-ever UK headline shows
Grayscale are finally coming to the UK and they’re just as excited as the fans are.
The Philadelphia alt-rock band have officially announced they will be coming to the UK for their first-ever headline shows, as part of the Live in Colour UK/EU tour this November, with support from Sick Joy and Poledance.
If the band's recent Instagram is anything to go by, tickets are flying fast. “Honestly, we’re blown away by the support,” they said of the response, before teasing that shows in London, Nottingham and Leeds are close to selling out.
But it’s no surprise that both the band and fans are excited about the recent announcement. Grayscale have been years to make it across the pond, after previous plans were derailed by the pandemic.
Now, they're finally making it happen.
Lead singer Collin Walsh said: “We’ve been trying to headline the UK and Europe for a long, long time. COVID delayed that twice – until now.
“We are so excited to do our first ever headliner across the pond. We’ll be playing songs from every record. Thank you so much for waiting, we’ll see you on the Live in Colour tour.”
The tour is in support of their brand-new album The Hart which is out now, and marks a new chapter for the band.
The record delves into addiction, grief, faith, and the band’s personal growth over the past few years. It’s got big guitar and raw honesty but is already loved by the band’s devoted fanbase.
